DIY Items / Rhinestone Bracelet

Hoy les traigo un proyecto súper fácil y divertido para el fin de semana. Yo soy amante de las pulseritas, tengo un montón y las colecciono creando diferentes combinaciones en mi muñeca. ¿Qué les parece hacer una tu misma? Puedes hacerlas usando diferentes colores, además es una buenísima idea para regalar a tus amigas. ¿Quienes se animan?

Today I have this super easy and fun project for the weekend. I love bracelets, I collect them and love making different combinations on my wrist. How about if you can make your own? You can do this project using different colors, and it’s a very good gift to give to your friends.  Are you up for it?

Materiales / Materials

1. Cordón grueso de color llamativo  (Thick colorful cord) 
2. Tijeras (scissors)
3. Cinta adhesiva transparente (transparent masking tape)
4. Un tira de rhinestone (cup chain  rhinestone)
5. Hilo de bordar (embroidery thread)
6. Grafe de metal en forma de ancla (hook clasp)

1. Corta un pedazo de cordón a medida de tu muñeca / Cut a piece of string to measure your wrist 

2. Inserta el cierre de metal dentro del cordón grueso. Une los extremos a la mitad con cinta adhesiva. / Insert the metal clasp inside the thick cord. Connects the ends with tape in the middle.

3. Ata el hilo del lado donde esta el cierre con un nudo. / Tie the thread with a knot close to the clasp hook.

¡Estamos ya a la mitad! Empieza a enrollar el hilo uniendo las dos parte del cordón. Enrolla aproximadamente un espacio de 1/2 . / We are almost have there! Start winding the thread linking the two parts of the cord. Roll about a 1/2″

4. Luego coloca el rhinestone en la parte superior y pasa el hilo a través de los espacios. / Then place the rhinestone on the top and pass the thread through the spaces in between . 

5. Cuando te acerques al final, corta el rhinestone restante y vuelve a enrollar el hilo en un espacio de ½ . Deja un pequeño agujero. / As you approach the end, cut the remaining rhinestone and wrap the cord with the thread around the edges. Leave a small hole at the end.

Listo, dale la vuelta e introduce el grafe de metal en el agujero del extremó opuesto. Ya tienes un brazalete mas para tu “arm party” / Ready! just  enter the metal clasp hook in the hole. Now you have a new bracelet for your “arm party”
