DIY Items // CD Hologram Bag

Trabajar en conjunto todo se hace mas divertido. En colaboración con Yazmin de The Hippie Nerd este primer capítulo de projectos DIY, yo tengo ya un tiempecito realizándolos aquí en el blog sin embargo Yaz esta estrenando sección y que mejor manera de hacerlo que en conjunto. Ayer lanzamos el video preview a través de las redes sociales, puedes verlo AQUI si te lo perdiste; hoy te traemos el resultado final. Inspirado por el articulo que realice hace par de meses sobre la tendencia Holograma para Uepa Mag, aquí les presento como decorar un bolso con esta tendencia… así que tomen tijeras y pegamento, y manos a la obra!

Working in group can be so much fun. In collaboration with Yazmin from The Hippie Nerd, we’ve developed a new chapter of DIY projects, I’ve been doing them here for a while however its Yaz’s first time, so we are doing it together. Yesterday, we showed you a video teaser through our social networks, you can see it HERE in case you missed it; today we present you the final result. Inspired by the article I did about Hologram trend for Uepa Mag, here I’m showing you how to decor a bag with this trend… take you scissors and glue, and let’s do it! 

Materiales

• CD viejos / Old CD’s
• Tijeras / Scissors 
• Un envase hondo con agua caliente / A bowl with hot water
• Pegamento E6000 / E6000 glue
• Un bolso simple y económico / A cheap simple bag

1. Sumerge los CD en el agua caliente. // Dip the CD into the hot water

2. Dejalos reposar por unos minuntos // Let them inside the water for a few minutes.

3. Con ayuda de una pinza, sácalos del envase y córtalo en pedazos //  Take a tweezers, and use them to get the pieces out of the container, then cut them in half.

4. Los CD poseen dos caras de plásticos, con los dedos cuidadosamente desprende una de la otra. // CD’s have 2 sides, brake them apart with your fingers.

Estamos a mitad de camino, corta las piezas como desees // We are half way there, cut the pieces as you like.

5. Toma el bolso y decide donde deseas colocar la aplicación. // Take the bag and decide where you want to decorate it.

6. Con mucho cuidado, coloca pegamento detrás de las piezas y empieza a colocarlas de modo que crees el patrón que desees. // Carefully, glue the pieces to the bag using E6000, and start making a pattern as you like.

7. Llena nos espacios en blanco y cuando este conforme con el diseño… voila! Habrás terminado. Deja las piezas secar toda la noche. // Fill the blank space and when you make the design as you like.. Voilá! that means you are finished! Let pieces dry over night.
