Descubrir nuevos talentos es una de las cosas que mas me gusta para el blog, pues permito dedicarle un pequeño espacio a nuevos diseñadores con un gran talento. Hace un tiempo había oído de Paula Mendoza, una artista colombiana residente en Nueva York. Sus piezas son exquisitas, de solo mirarlas por instagram me volvía loca. Cuando se me presento la oportunidad de ir a NYC, no dudé ni un segundo en contactarla. Paula, muy simpática y muy atenta, me recibió en su showroom ubicado en Little Italy para mostrarme su nueva colección. Las piezas son impresionante, todo la colección tiene un baño de oro de 24kt acompañado de piedras preciosas como la esmeralda y amatista; hecho en Colombia y distribuido en los Estado Unidos. Según me contaba Paula, su inspiración es la naturaleza, las formas orgánicas y texturas que produce. Yo quede encantada, amo las piezas que tienen una historia, un concepto y además una bella atención a los detalles.

Discovering new talents is one of the things I love the most to do on the blog, I can dedicate a little space to new designers with great talent. A couple of months ago I heard of Paula Mendoza, a Colombian artist living in New York City. Her pieces are exquisite, from just looking at them on instagram they drove me crazy. When I got the opportunity to go to NYC a few weeks back, I didn’t hesitate to contact her. Paula, very friendly and thoughtful, welcomed me into her showroom located in Little Italy to show me her new collection. The pieces are stunning, the collection is made in 24kt gold plated accompanied by gemstones like emerald and amethyst, everything is made in Colombia and distributed in the United States. According to Paula, her inspiration is the nature, its organic forms and textures. I was delighted, I love pieces that have a story, a concept and beautiful attention to detail.
