Wearing Denim On Denim With A Bandana
The other day while I was cleaning out my closet I found this red bandana that I had for a long time, remember we used to wear bandana around our head in the 90’s? (Hahaha) I had tons of them in different colors!
The bandana is back and now, the trend is to use it around your neck, as a choker or mini scarf. Perfect accessory to complement a monochromatic outfit . The key to achieve a denim on denim look is to play with textures and different shades of denim. For example, in my case, it’s almost the same hue (a light “wash out” denim), however I chose a denim shirt with a light pattern on it which helps to break up the monotony while keep the denim on denim overlook. You can apply this advice to any other color or fabric.
