DIY Items // Flower Braid In Hair Clip
Don’t you get bored of wearing the same hairstyle over and over again? I DO! That’s why I’m always looking for inspiration. I’m not a big fan of the drastic changes (ie, dyes, crazy cuts, I’m very traditionalist … i know! Hahaha) so that’s why accessories are the key items to get the “temporary” change I want.
I saw this Braid in hair clip trend and found it super cool. It is not the typical flower crown, but something more subtle that you can include in different braids hairstyles. It’s perfect for a bride who wants to achieve a romantic bohemian style. Also to go to the beach or wear with summer dresses.
The braid in hair clip DIY is super easy, my friends, and fairly inexpensive. You can make several using different kinds of flowers and mix them up when you braid your hair. Ok, let’s do it!
YOU’LL NEED:
- Metal hair clip
- 2 yards of suede cord
- Tiny plastic flowers
- E6000 glue
- Tweezers or heavy scissors
STEPS:
- Remove the flowers the plastic bouquet.
- With tweezers or scissors, remove the excess plastic in the back. Flowers should be as flat as possible.
- Attach the cord to the hair clip and secure with a knot.
- Add the flowers to the cord with E6000. Leave a distance of 1 1/2 – 2 inch between each little flower.
- Let it dry for 24 hours
