Why I Made Changes In My Blog Life “They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.”― Andy Warhol. Why I decided to make some changes in my blog life.

“They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.” Andy Warhol

Changes can be difficult and sometimes frightening. For a long time, I’ve been think a lot about my life and what I’ve accomplished, I think it all started when I taught the first Workshop for Bloggers where I asked myself, “What is this blog about and what I want it to be?”. From that day, after hearing and meeting so many people, I started to educate my self to teach and my mentality has changed dramatically.

The truth is that this blog has changed a lot since the first time I wrote a blog post. Now I decided to make another BIG change, and the truth is that this idea scares me a little bit. First I questioned it a lot because I didn’t know if it was right, but then I decided to take a step of faith and trust my instincts and decisions. I started to read my old posts and realized how much the blog has overcome, because I’VE grown. My eyes discover new things everyday which make me think and learn even more. I don’t have thousands of followers, and sometimes I think only 5 people read this blog (haha!) But then I get an email or private message from someone that decided to take 5 minutes from her busy day to let me know how much she loved and appreciate the post or info I shared. They know who they are and thanks to them I’ve been thinking what is the next step for this virtual space that started 4 years ago.

For several months I’ve been working on some changes in my blog life, they have been very small. But if you’ve been following this blog for a while and you look closely, my content is starting to take another turn. It all started with the workshops, then the new look of the site and also I have been gradually including other blogpost themes unrelated to fashion per se but very truly related to my life (like THIS or THIS or THIS) and I’ve really enjoyed the experiment. I started to see, appreciate and share those “key items” of my life that help me improve my personal and professional life. So I started to think what I could do to turn things around me and to inspire others, as Andy Warhol said on the quote above.

Don’t get me wrong, Fashion is not going anywhere. It’s my profession and I love it, so I will continue with those regular publications, only rather than to focus only on accessories (as the original idea of this blog when it was born) they will be combined with some other more personal or professional topics. Now we will talk about THE KEY ITEM for life, fashion, creativity, travel, inspiration, beauty, love, leadership, and everything that make us who special.

What do you think? I hope you enjoy this new journey with me. But most of all,…thanks for being here!
