How To Feel Sublime In 5 Minutes
With the everyday hustle, between work, home or children (I’m not a mother, but I’ve many friends that they are); it’s very easy to forget what you need to feel better about yourself. I’ve to confess that maintain a beauty routine has not been so easy for me, I always forget to take care of my face. But one of my goals over the past few years is to devote more time to myself.
When L’Occitane DR approached me to introduce its newest facial skin care line, I knew it was the perfect time to commit to a beauty routine for a month and share my experience with you all. The line is called Pivoine Sublime for young skin between 25 to 35 years, and it’s based on extracts of Peony. This patented extract immediately improves the skin condition, treating the texture irregularities and inequality skin tone.

Now let me tell you about each product of the Pivoine Sublime line:
1. EXFOLIATOR 2 IN 1
This serves as exfoliating cleanser and mask. Remove all dead cells and you can use as a daily cleaner and once a week you can leave on your face for a few minutes as a mask. From this first step of Pivoine Sublime, you will notice how soft it feels when you rinse the face.
2. TONIC
It has a super rich aroma, which feels so smooth and refreshing. The Pivoine Sublime tonic will help to accomplish a smoother and cleaner skin texture.
3. PERFECTING CREAM
This cream exists in two variant; for oily skin and normal / dry skin. So it willl give you the necessary hydration according to your skin type. I used one for normal skin and felt sublimely moisturizing.
4. CC PERFECTING CREAM SPF 20
I’ll admit this was my favorite Pivoine Sublime product because it gives such a natural finish and also offers sun protection. I apply it in the morning, together with concealer, mascara and blush to accomplish a fresher look. At first the face will look very white, but you have to let it suit on your skin color. The CC cream comes in two shades, so there are options for all.
THE FINAL VERDICT
The Pivoine Sublime routine helped me get a better luminous skin. I tried not to wear much makeup throughout the month in order to see a better effect. It was also great for reducing the appearance of pores cause by stress. But more than anything, I learned to give myself that 5 extra minutes. Yes, 5 minutes is all you need! Sometimes we see all these skin care steps and think that they’re too much effort but after 30 days, I must admit it was much easier than I expected.
Remember to always give to youself that special love and time that you deserve. No matter what it is: a morning meditation, a coffee date with friends, 5 minutes of prayer, go to the salon or do your nails. The important thing is to put on the agenda something that makes you feel sublime.
